I’ve written before about how much I love the drinks as a part of the 17 Day Eating plan. In fact, the Kefir Shake is one of my favorite 17 Day Eating plan formulas. It is easy and meets that wanting I get for something desert-like.
In addition to making the smoothie in the book, I also create a smoothie using low-fat simply natural that is 17 Day Eating plan legal (recipe is defined on my Tips and Advice for the 17 Day Eating plan article).
I found a delicious perspective on my natural smoothie formula this week. I didn’t have team soft drinks or flavorful bubbly water, but did have dieting red soft drinks, so I used it to create a freezing bananas smoothie, using these ingredients:
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/8 cup splenda
- 1/4 to 1/2 can diet orange soda depending on your preference for thickness
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
It is so delicious, and now I’m on a Red soda-strawberry shake conquer. I’m considering I’ll try a main alcohol shake next!

My friends call me Mr. Cheap because of my penny pinching ways. This tendancy led me on a search for the cheapest food out there and that's when I found ramen noodles! Now I'm on a quest to find the best recipes for them.
