Don’t Miss Mentei if You Like Ramen I was in Birkenstock boston for LinuxWorld this previous weeks time and remained at the Sheraton, over by the Pru. While scoping out the community, I came across Mentei, a small little plunge of a ramen-ya two bocks away, on Hereford right off Boylston.
The miso ramen was fantastic, wealthy and full-bodied, with a lot of accessories, nori, negi, chashu, and, of course, plenty of dinner. The ramen was ideal.
Also fantastic were the gyoza, shumai, and “crab lotion croquettes” that my companion (who had the hot meat ramen and experienced it) and I distributed, along with a menu of combined pickles: wakame, takuan and kim-chi, all very excellent. The cooler’s complete of Japoneses carbonated beverages and such, so if you’re a fan of melons smooth beverages, Ramune, and that kind of factor, you can get that, too.
The position, which probably doesn’t chair 20, is a two-man function. The prepare is definitely on top of his activity and the owner/front-man is helpful, beneficial and receptive, I liked him a lot. I especially liked that he was willing to talk with me in my not-as-good-as-I-wish-it-were Japoneses Don’t Miss Mentei if You Like Ramen
